House-made caramel ice cream with a punch (not pinch) of Amagansett Sea Salt
Flavor Number 5, Salted Caramel was first released to MilkMade Members back in February 2010. While it's now an ice cream staple, back then the flavor profile blew people's minds. For ours, we start with a secret-of -the-house layered caramel recipe. Then add some milk, eggs, and a punch of salt straight from Amagansett (not a typo; we’re going for “salted” here) and voila. It's dark, complex, salty, sweet. Kinda like us.
